Restarting the hair-growth cycle at its root.

Most hair-loss treatments fight a losing battle against symptoms. Flourish takes a regenerative approach, reactivating the biology that tells a follicle to grow.

The problem

Today's options manage loss. Patients Need More.

Existing treatments slow shedding, mask thinning, or require surgery, and most deliver limited improvements in coverage. For the great majority of patients, there is no durable, effective therapy that actually regrows hair.

Flourish takes a precision path. Rather than fighting the symptoms, BMD-1141 works upstream, at the receptor that controls the follicle’s own growth cycle, so the body rebuilds hair the way it was designed to.

Who it’s for

Three conditions, One Solution.

The same regenerative biology addresses the three major forms of non-scarring hair loss.

Lead market

Androgenetic Alopecia

Male and female pattern hair loss, roughly 80 million Americans, with no durable standard of care.

Expansion

Chemotherapy-Induced

Over half of patients call this the most traumatic part of chemotherapy, and current options are limited.

additional clinical focus

Alopecia Areata

An autoimmune cause of hair loss with a known FDA pathway, and a need for non-immunosuppressant options.

How BMD-1141 works

Three steps, in plain language.

Our medicine does something existing drugs can’t: it stays put in the scalp and switches the growth cycle back on.

01

Anchor

One half of the molecule binds to collagen, the structural protein in your skin. This locks the therapy in place at the scalp, creating a slow-release local depot that lasts for months.

02

Activate

The other half is a hair-growth signal. Anchored in place, it activates receptors on the stem cells that sit dormant at the base of each follicle.

03

Regrow

Those stem cells wake up and drive the follicle back into its active growth phase, building new, healthy hair shafts. Regeneration, from a single injection.

The molecule

Two domains, one sustained effect.

BMD-1141 fuses parathyroid hormone (PTH) to a collagen-binding domain (CBD), so the growth signal stays exactly where it’s needed.

  • The PTH domain stimulates hair-follicle morphogenesis at the stem cell receptor.
  • The CBD domain anchors the molecule in scalp collagen for a local, lasting effect.
  • Designed to support dosing every one to three months.

A Science-based Approach that
translates to the Clinic

  • Mechanism of Action: A fusion protein that switches hair follicles back into their growth phase, with a built-in “anchor” that keeps the drug in the skin for a localized, long-lasting effect.
  • Preclinical: Restored hair growth in established models of alopecia areata and chemotherapy-induced hair loss, with dosing as infrequent as every 1–3 months.
  • Path to First-in-Human: A placebo-controlled, single-ascending-dose study enriched for subjects with androgenetic alopecia to assess safety and evaluate for early signs of efficacy.

Exploratory findings from a small, non-powered study. Not intended to establish statistical significance or to support any claim of efficacy or safety.

A first-in-class regenerative therapy for androgenetic alopecia and other forms of hair loss — building quality of life.
